The maestro Daniel Oren and the Orchestra of the Teatro Verdi in Salerno were the protagonists of the fifteenth edition of the Christmas Concert, sponsored by the Senate, which was held in the “Palazzo Madama” Sunday, December 18.
The concert, presented by Pippo Baudo, was broadcast live on RaiUno, even in Eurovision, live broadcast on Radio 3 Rai and deferred coverage on RAI International.
The maestro Daniel Oren and the Orchestra of the Teatro Verdi in Salerno is performed free of charge.
The President thanked the Master of the Senate and all the players for accepting the invitation.
As has become tradition, the entire collection of tickets, offered for sale to the minimum of 120 euros will be donated to charity.
At the concert was attended by the highest offices of state: President of the Republic,President of the Chamber of Deputies, President of the Constitutional Court and President of the Council of Ministers.
The proceeds of the tickets – about 42 000 euros – will be donated this year to the Department of Pediatrics, University of Rome “La Sapienza”, which is located inside the hospital.
The sum will be delivered directly on the morning of December 25, the President of the Senate, Renato Schifani.
